EA Sports today announced that a demo of their upcoming "EA Sports MMA" video game will be available on September 28 for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
In the demo gamers can take control of Alistair Overeem and Bobby Lashley in the heavyweight division or Jason "Mayhem" Miller and Jake Shields in the middleweight division. Jimmy Lennon, Jr. will be the cage announcer in the demo, while bouts will feature "Big" John McCarthy as the referee.
The demo will feature four levels of play, with fights taking place at the HP Pavilion under the Strikeforce banner. There will also be an "MMA 101" interactive tutorial in the demo. The full game will be released on both platforms on October 19 in North America, and October 22 globally.
