Jorge Rivera was originally looking to fight Alessio Sakara in front of a hometown crowd this weekend at UFC 118 in Boston, Mass., but injuries pulled both fighters from the card. Now, according to a report from the Boston Herald, both fighters are once again getting matched up.
But the fight is coming much further from home for Rivera, as the fight will now happen at UFC 122 in Germany this November.
Rivera is riding a three fight win streak, including his most recent knockout victory over Nate Quarry at Fight Night 21 in March.
Sakara as well is riding a win streak of his own, most recently defeating James Irvin in March.
UFC 122 will air via tape delay in the U.S. on Spike TV on November 13. The event takes place from Oberhausen, Germany.

Penick's Analysis: When Sakara pulled out earlier this month it made sense to try to get this one back together when it was their original plan. Both will have been out of action for eight months himself. Ring rust could play into both fighters' performances in this one. Still, it's a very good matchup with both fighters riding a nice win streak, and it will be a good one for the Spike TV card.
UPDATE: The original article mistakenly stated that Sakara had been out since last August. It has been corrected.
